Why order as a bundle

Planned from the floor plan

Placed by logic, not guesswork

We derive sign locations from your corridors and unit ranges — every decision point gets a sign, nothing redundant.

Consistent ranges everywhere

Directories, arrows and unit numbers are generated from one schedule, so a renumbered unit never orphans a sign.

Reads at corridor distance

Letter heights and contrast chosen for viewing distance, with ADA-legibility rules applied to directional text.

FAQ

Wayfinding questions

How many wayfinding signs does a building need?

A useful rule: one range sign at every point where a corridor branches or a visitor exits an elevator or stairwell, plus floor ID at every stair door. For a typical double-loaded corridor building that works out to 1–2 signs per floor plus the lobby directory. We map it from your floor plan on the quote.

Do directional signs need braille?

No — braille is required for signs identifying permanent rooms, not directional ones. Directional signs still follow ADA legibility rules (character height, contrast, non-glare finish), which our templates apply automatically.

Can directories be updated later?

Yes. Commercial tenant directories use insert systems so names can change without replacing the sign; residential directories are usually fixed. We’ll recommend the right construction for your building type.
